Deleting a Client File (Desktop) ​

What it is: Permanently removing a client file from Draftworx Desktop.

What it's for ​

When a client file is no longer needed and should not be retained, it can be permanently deleted from the system. A captcha code is required to confirm the deletion, preventing accidental removal.

This action is irreversible. Consider archiving the file instead if you may need it in future — see Archiving Client Files (Desktop).

How to do it ​

Navigate to the Main Client List screen, then:

  1. Select the client file.
  2. Select the Draftworx Icon (the menu button).
  3. Select Delete Client.
  4. Retype the Captcha Code shown on screen.
  5. Select Delete.

Keyboard shortcut: Select the client file on the Client List, then press the Delete key on your keyboard. This opens the same confirmation prompt.
